Chris spent more than 20 years as a reporter for the Press Enterprise, starting while still in college and continuing until July 2018. During that time, Chris has covered all facets of news, from heartache and triumphs, to corruption and murder.
Chris has earned a plethora of awards for his investigative, breaking and feature reporting. Ready for a change, he began taking classes part time in the Master of Science in Instructional Technology program at Bloomsburg University in 2017 and began full time in July 2018. He will graduate in May 2019.
Chris has also played drums since he was 16; buying an old kit from a friend, putting on some headphones, and jamming out to his favorite artists. He helped some high school friends behind the sound and light board before joining his own band in 1988. Since then, Chris has played with several regional bands, and is currently the drummer for The Loons.
Chris has always enjoyed travling the country, and after his first trip abroad several years ago, he was hooked. He fell in love with Italy and feels at home there, probably due in part to his Italian heritage and upbringing. He's always planning his next adventure to Italia and other European countries.
The only thing Chris may enjoy more than Europe are dogs. He's always fascinated by their intelligence and adaptability, and enjoys their playful spirit and goofy antics. He has two Chihuahuas and two Golden Doodles.
