About Me

Adam Roosa

Explorer In Charge

I love making things, and I want to inspire and educate others about making things too.

I don't have any official "training" in making things or building, but I do have some skills using tools that I've picked up over the years, and I want to grow those skills and inspire others to grow their skills too.

Why "The Mountain Maker?"

Exploring the outdoors has always been a big part of my life. For me, like so many other people, the outdoors are a place to decompress and re-connect with myself, and with the world. I want to infuse that spirit into my work so that when I'm not able to be outside, I'm still surrounded by elements of nature.

Where I want to take this hobby:

My long-term goal is to open a workshop to produce furniture and other decor pieces. I've been working toward a style I have dubbed "Modern Rustic," taking elements of traditional woodworking and infusing clean modern styles that would be at home in high-end architecture, but at an affordable price.
