Topographic Wall Art

A piece of art I created for my house from a topographic map of Spearfish Canyon, near Spearfish, South Dakota.

Spearfish Canyon's steep limestone cliffs were eroded by water approximately 60 million years ago, making it older than the Grand Canyon.

I went to college in Spearfish, and worked there for nearly a decade, so I made this piece to remember my time there.
