Video Game Enthusiast, Musician, Instructional Designer

That's me.

About Me

I recieved my B.A. in English Literature in 2020, and I have just completed (5/22) my M.S. in Instrucitonal Design and Technology, both from Bloomsburg University.

Most of my graduate education has been shaping me to become a developer of eLearning and I feel quite confident in my abilities to do so. I am proficient with both Storyline and Captivate, though I prefer the former, and am teaching myself Unity with hopes of developing Virtual Reality games. Most noteably, I have created an eLearning module that walks the learner through the process of sideloading content to the Oculus Quest and a module which teaches the learner how to shape a synthesiser voice, complete with interactive audio. I also was the lead developer for the Graduate Student Orientation course for Bloomsburg University. Additionally, I am  learning HTML/CSS (I made this ugly website!), Javascript for advanced Storyline interactions, and C#. I would like to eventually further my education by pursuing a Ph.D., likely focusing on Virtual Reality and education.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I am a struggling musician, a fan of video games (my favorite is Resident Evil 4, even after all these years), and sport-kite pilot (dual and quad line). I would like to start flying a paramotor as soon as possible and I think I would like to move to the desert soon. I've spent a lot of my life outdoors: backpacking, climbing, mountaineering, and cycling are my main activities. I've had frostbite twice, Lymes Disease three times, and I have a cat named Tula. I currently live in Bloomsburg with my mathmatician partner.
