Below you will find a list of some of the compositions I am most proud of. While it is far from an effective summary of the variety of educational topics I explored during my undergrad, I feel these works show my evolution as a writer and my ability to cover diverse topics.

    An analysis of Biblical Gospel Narratives in context of a number of Epic poems, asserting that the Gospels are mimetic of the Epic Form.

  2. Colonization and Imperialism: Hybridity in Shakespeare's The Tempest

    An analysis of Shakespeare's The Tempest as it stands as an exemplum of Octave Manoni's Theory of Colonial Dependence, also exploring literature of imperialism.

  3. Female Opression in Ancient Epics: Gecco-Roman Proto-Feminism in Epic Poetry

    A showcase of noteable femal characters and feminist themes in Gecco-Roman Pastoral and Epic literature as they relate to contemporary feminist philosophy.

  4. Eurorack Synthesis and it's Fans: A Brief History and Analysis of a Musical Fandom

    A description and analysis of the fandom group around Eurorack Synthesizers, presented through interviews with noteable produecers and industry leaders.

  5. Hyper-Immersive Narratives: Properties of Presence and Immersion in Virtual Realities

    An analysis of factors which increase immersion in Virtual Reality spaces, especially as these factors contribute to narratives.
